Ce que nous faisons
Education empowerment: We believe that education is the cornerstone of empowerment. Through scholarships, mentorship programs, and educational workshops, we strive to ensure that every youth has access to quality education, regardless of their socio-economic background.
Skills development: In today's rapidly evolving world, acquiring relevant skills is essential for success. Our skill development initiatives equip youths with the tools they need to thrive in the job market, from vocational training to entrepreneurship programs.
Empowerment through advocacy: We advocate for policies and initiatives that promote youth empowerment, address poverty, and improve access to education. By raising awareness and engaging with policymakers, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for young Cameroonians.
Community engagement: We believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Through volunteer opportunities, community projects, and outreach programs, we encourage youths to actively participate in creating positive change in their communities.

Composition
Our organization is composed of a vibrant and diverse membership base, encompassing young people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and regions of Cameroon. Whether urban or rural, male, female, or non-binary, student or entrepreneur, every member of Y.O.N.G brings unique perspectives, talents, and experiences to the table.
Driven by a shared sense of purpose, our members come together to collaborate, innovate, and effect positive change in their communities. From our dedicated volunteers and passionate advocates to our visionary leaders and committed staff, each individual plays a vital role in advancing our mission and achieving our goals.
Histoire
Créée en janvier 2024, YONG est née d'une vision partagée entre un groupe de jeunes Camerounais passionnés qui ont reconnu le besoin urgent de relever les défis auxquels leurs pairs sont confrontés.
Motivés par le désir de faire une différence, les membres fondateurs de YONG se sont réunis pour créer une organisation qui servirait de catalyseur de changement positif dans leurs communautés.
Depuis notre création, nous sommes restés fidèles à notre engagement en faveur de l’autonomisation de la jeunesse camerounaise. Nous sommes passés d’une petite initiative populaire à une force dynamique et influente en faveur de l’autonomisation des jeunes. À l’avenir, notre parcours sera caractérisé par d’innombrables réussites, des initiatives transformatrices et des partenariats impactants.
