What We Do
Education Empowerment: We believe that education is the cornerstone of empowerment. Through scholarships, mentorship programs, and educational workshops, we strive to ensure that every youth has access to quality education, regardless of their socio-economic background.
Skills Development: In today's rapidly evolving world, acquiring relevant skills is essential for success. Our skill development initiatives equip youths with the tools they need to thrive in the job market, from vocational training to entrepreneurship programs.
Empowerment Through Advocacy: We advocate for policies and initiatives that promote youth empowerment, address poverty, and improve access to education. By raising awareness and engaging with policymakers, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for young Cameroonians.

Composition
Our organization is composed of a vibrant and diverse membership base, encompassing young people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and regions of Cameroon. Whether urban or rural, male, female, or non-binary, student or entrepreneur, every member of Y.O.N.G brings unique perspectives, talents, and experiences to the table.
Driven by a shared sense of purpose, our members come together to collaborate, innovate, and effect positive change in their communities. From our dedicated volunteers and passionate advocates to our visionary leaders and committed staff, each individual plays a vital role in advancing our mission and achieving our goals.
History
Established in January 2024, Y.O.N.G was born out of a shared vision among a group of passionate young Cameroonians who recognized the pressing need to address the challenges facing their peers.
Motivated by the desire to make a difference, Y.O.N.G founding members came together to create an organization that would serve as a catalyst for positive change in their communities.
Since our inception, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to empowering Cameroonian youth. We have grown from a small grassroots initiative to a dynamic and influential force for youth empowerment. Going forward, our journey will be characterized by countless success stories, transformative initiatives, and impactful partnerships.
